How to use

Planting

Dig a hole 2X as wide as the rootball of the plant.
Blend a 50:50 mix of Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil All Purpose and native soil.
Plant and fully cover the roots with the soil mixture.
Apply mulch (if desired).

Amending Garden Beds

Apply a 3" layer of Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil All Purpose and work into the top 6" of existing soil.

Filling Raised Beds

Mix equal parts Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil All Purpose and topsoil or native soil.

Plant seeds or live plants following specific package or plant tag instructions. Water thoroughly after planting, then water daily until plants are well established.

Where to use

Use for in-ground planting.

Where not to use

This soil should not be used in containers.

When to apply

Apply when planting flowers, vegetables and herbs outdoors (not in containers), or when preparing soil in outdoor gardens and landscape beds.

How often to apply

Amend in-ground gardens annually, mixing 3 inches of garden soil into the top 6 inches of native soil.

To plant a 72 sq. ft. area at a 2" depth use 8 bags, for a 3" depth use 12 bags, and for a 6" raised bed use 12 bags.
To plant a 96 sq. ft. area at a 2" depth use 11 bags, for a 3" depth use 16 bags, and for a 6" raised bed use 16 bags.
